About the Axis
The Axis is Rove's most popular model an open frame design that sits fractionally lighter than the Origin and makes car transfers noticeably easier, without giving up the performance characteristics that define the Rove range.
The open frame removes the continuous structural loop of the Origin, trading a small amount of torsional stiffness for a cleaner, more minimal aesthetic and a reduced folded width. For most active users this trade-off is imperceptible in daily use, which is why the Axis is our top seller.
Like the Origin, it uses the same in-house carbon fibre tubes (30 mm OD × 0.9 mm wall; 25 mm × 0.9 mm grab bar), the same Ti6Al4V titanium 3D-printed lugs (1.3 mm wall), and the full Flip Chip CoG system 30 mm of horizontal adjustment in 10 mm steps.
